Doy gracias por…
Posted by Katie BrennaFor the month of November, Upper School Spanish students have participated in a daily warm-up activity to develop a gratitude mindset at the start of each class. Students identified quiet moments throughout the class to write items on the “gratitude pumpkin” and each day, we read aloud the growing list. Once we were about two weeks into this practice, we realized that we needed outside inspiration. Student ambassadors would travel to nearby classrooms and assist younger students in adding a new item to the pumpkin in Spanish. In a few short weeks, our pumpkin was full of gratitude! We had a great time learning new vocabulary, being appreciative and sharing with others. As for the pumpkin, it had a great time traveling about and even landed itself a seat at the table of our guests of honor during the Thanksgiving Feast!
