Interpreting Music Through Movement
Posted by Megan KirkIn PreK-4 we often move to music. When a song is slower it makes us move differently than a fast song. A quiet song requires different movements than a louder piece. Students are beginning to understand the different “moods” the composer is trying to show with their music. Today in class we used scarves to help us show what the different classical pieces we heard were trying to convey to the listener.
