Ponding
Posted by Faith BarbutoOn our most exciting adventure yet, the Kindergarten explorers headed to the Audubon to investigate the pond. Although the weather was chilly, we found life springing up everywhere! Armed with field guides and nets, we took to the pond, scooping out water and observing what we found. We identified eggs of all shapes and sizes as well as many insect larvae. With the help of experienced ponder, Ms. Colleen, we were able to catch two fish, two tadpoles and even a newt! No pond creatures were harmed and fun was had by all.
