JUN30 | Summer Discovery Day at Unquowa 4:00 PM to 5:15 PM view detailshide details This event is open to ALL children, PreK to rising grade 8 & their families! Join us this summer for playful afternoons filled with creativity, exploration and connection at Unquowa School. Our Summer Discovery Days are designed to give children and families an opportunity to experience the joyful spirit of the Unquowa community in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Families are invited to enjoy playground time, nature and brook exploration, hands-on creative activities, STEM and discovery stations, lawn games, summer treats, and optional campus tours. Led by Unquowa students, faculty, and staff, these gatherings are intentionally casual, community-centered, and designed to help children make new friends while families connect with one another throughout the summer months. Parents, please join us in the courtyard on Monday, June 1, from 8:30β9:45 a.m. as we warmly welcome newly enrolled families and enjoy one last community gathering before summer begins!
Iced coffee and tea will be served, and the UPA Co-Presidents, Barb Holzer and Patrick McGettigan, will be available to chat about ways to get involved next year. The Community Closet will be open, and this will also be the final opportunity to check the Lost & Found before non-Unquowa-branded items are donated.
While parents gather in the courtyard, new and returning students will spend time with their future teachers and participate in a fun activity to get excited for the year ahead!
