Upper School Chorus
Posted by Megan KirkAt assembly this week the Upper School Chorus sang Coldplay’s song “Fix You.” This song was chosen by the students to learn in chorus. We found an arrangement with three part harmonies that really brought the song to life. During the instrumental break of the song, the students used sixteenth notes and the syllables “ba da da da” to re-create the sound of the electric guitar in the original song. At first the students did not like this section of the piece since it was difficult to sing all of the notes and harmonies at the same time. However, after working hard to master this portion of the song it quickly became a favorite part of the selection. The audience really loved listening to the chorus sing. Great work everyone!
