In this activity, the 8th grade explored the thermal properties of various objects. 8th grade has learned the 3 ways in which thermal energy can be transferred between two or more objects. Thermal energy can be transferred via conduction (particle to particle), convection (through a gas or liquid media), radiation (electromagnetic waves) or a combination of the three.
