Every year our evergreen study wraps up with our traditional trip to New York City’s Rockefeller Center to see the biggest evergreen around. The whole class (and their parents) joined Mrs. Shannon on the trip one Saturday in December. We took the train in as a group and were amazed by how fast it was. This year, before visiting the tree we had the special treat of attending the Off-Broadway show of “Pinkalicious” (a big thank you goes to Olivia’s Mom for setting that up). Rockefeller Center was a little too crowded to get close enough to identify the specific type of tree, but we were certain it was a giant evergreen. As always it was a great day that left everyone worn out!
