On Monday afternoon the first grade squires were knighted in a royal ceremony by the Kings and Queen of Winter Festival. Each of the brave knights worked very hard in the days leading up to the knighting ceremony to show that they were ready for knighthood. Special badges were earned by all of the knights for friendship, bravery, respect, honesty, and kindness. They also created shields to help protect the kingdom of Unquowa. Many thanks to all of our first grade families that helped us prepare for this very special afternoon!
