Boys’ Green Basketball Earns a Tough Victory!
Posted by Iman RastiBoys’ Green Basketball opened up their season yesterday with a nail biting victory over St. Aloysius. They started off strong with points from Paul, Jack, and Will. However, St. Aloysius crept back into the game and cut the Gators’ lead down to five at half time. Unquowa opened up the second half strong, but the opponents kept the game close right down to the wire. St. Aloysius tied the game at 28 with two minutes to go. Thanks to some great offensive moves by Dylan and Paul, the Gators pulled ahead 30-28 in the game’s final minute. Then the rest of the Unquowa team dug deep and played phenomenal defense to hold on and win. Everyone on the bench was supportive and enthusiastic and did really well whenever they entered the game. Great start Gators!
