Our 7th and 8th graders experienced an exciting culinary adventure as they prepared to cook a meal for themselves and even brought a sample home to share with their parents. After shopping for fresh ingredients on their Field Experience to the Asian Market, students returned to school eager to roll up their sleeves and get to work. In the kitchen, they took on various tasks: some chopped vegetables with precision, while others collected ingredients in bowls, and a few sautéed flavorful dumpling fillings. Their motivation was palpable, driven by the desire to create a delicious meal that would bring joy to their families. This enriching experience was made possible thanks to our amazing chef, who generously provided the kitchen space and guided the students through their cooking journey.
