In this project, my 7th grade Algebra class traded in their pencils for digital brushes to become Desmos artists! Students used their knowledge of equations and restrictions to create unique designs. It was awesome to see them realize that math isn’t just about formulas on a page, but it can also be a way to create cool art! I was so impressed with the way they challenged themselves, pushing well beyond the requirements of the assignment, to make their vision a reality.
