The parents of Unquowa’s Class of 2014 joined Sharon Lauer, the eighth grade advisors and faculty members to celebrate this year’s graduates in style! With chocolate covered strawberries and champagne, they toasted the eighth graders. Whether their graduate will be their first child heading off to high school or will be following the path of older siblings, everyone shared stories and words of wisdom about this exciting milestone. Gathering in the Beach Library, they talked about the recent eighth grade trip to Rocking Horse Dude Ranch and the bittersweetness of next week’s Closing Ceremony and Commencement.
