We had our first rehearsal for this year’s Winterfest – “Come Together.” This year our theme is The Beatles and students just started learning the choreography to their finale number for this exciting show! Each grade will have their traditional roles in the show, but all of the music, as well as the script has been written using the characters from the Beatles’ music as inspiration. Every student in the school is involved in Winterfest – whether it be singing, acting, dancing, tech-crew, playing guitar, creating props and scenery, students are involved in every aspect of this show. The learning experiences that come from putting on a school-wide show are priceless. One of the great quotes we live by here at Unquowa is: “Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted.” Albert Einstein; and this show is a great example of just that!
