Unquowa’s Agent of Shield (Volcanoes)
Posted by Craig KnebelThe sixth graders have been studying plate tectonics and the causes of most volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis due to the movement of crashing plates. In addition to modeling Tsunamis in the makerspace, the students crafted salty dough models of shield, cone and composite volcanoes. We went outside to let them “erupt.”
