8th Grade Trip – Day Two
Posted by Debbie LeidleinWednesday was a bit cooler, but there were plenty of activities! After a delicious breakfast, students participated in archery, bumper boats (with water cannons, of course), bumper cars and go-carts. After a quick trip home to change into dry clothes, students returned to the go-carts and batting cages. Even the teachers got in on the fun when it came to the go-carts. We then took a break for lunch before paintball wars. Students had a great time demonstrating their expertise in the art of splatting each other with paint in order to be named the winning team. We then headed back to the houses to relax and change for our dress-up dinner. The character parade including Elmo, Winnie the Pooh, Abraham Lincoln and Queen Elsa (from Frozen), promoted the musical show for that night. Paul Revere even rode in on his horse. After dinner it was time to watch the Rangers game, ride the bumper cars or just spend time with each other. It was a fun-filled day and we look forward to warmer weather tomorrow.
