Owls After School Care Program
Posted by Alice DesGrangesOur after-school program is a warm, welcoming space where children can unwind, connect, and enjoy their time after a full school day. Designed for mixed-age groups, the program encourages children to build friendships, learn from one another, and feel confident in a supportive community setting.
Each afternoon includes snack time and homework assistance, followed by a variety of creative and recreational activities. Children can enjoy arts and crafts, painting, board games, puppet shows, karaoke, and movie nights, with options that appeal to different interests and energy levels.
Seasonal activities bring extra excitement throughout the year and may include pumpkin carving, themed tea parties, and special event nights. These experiences help create meaningful memories while encouraging creativity and cooperation.
A key part of our program is providing children with the freedom to play, imagine, and explore in a professionally supervised environment. Through self-directed play, group activities, and outdoor play when weather permits, children build confidence, communication skills, and positive peer relationships.
