Cave Paintings!
Posted by Thomas IezinIn 6th grade Humanities we finished our Early Humans unit with some Cave Paintings!
The class was divided into 5 groups where they each had to depict a story assigned to them by painting with their hands just like the Early Humans did.
Through this process the students not only learned about the experiences of early humans such as hunting and gathering, story telling, rituals and more! They also learned about the process that Archeologist and Anthropologist go through to try and understand what early humans were trying to depict.
