Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival!
Posted by Carina BlackwellZhōng Qiū Jié Kuài Lè! Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! Grade 3-6 students celebrated the mid-autumn festival by making mooncakes. They made over 100 of them for all students, faculty and staff. On this day, the family gathers together to enjoy a full table of delicious food, afterwards we taste a certain herbal tea while eating mooncakes. The moon is considered the brightest one that day. Families are thankful for what they have and pray for a good future. We are so happy to celebrate this traditional holiday with the Mandarin students.
