Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival
Posted by Carina BlackwellThe lower and upper school Mandarin students are celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival by making mooncakes for the entire school. Mid-Autumn Festival is the second most important festival for a family reunion in China. On that day, families gather together, eat mooncakes and appreciate the fullest moon with lanterns. The students at Unquowa have enjoyed making mooncakes in the class. We made lanterns to decorate the classroom as well. Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!
