Please join us on Friday, May 3rd for May Day at The Unquowa School! Grades PreK - 8 will perform! MAY06 | Parent Mindfulness Workshop 2023-2024 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM view detailshide details This group is experiential AND instructional. It is modeled on Linda Lantieri's Inner Resilience Program and will be taught again this year by Annie Zimmerli, PsyD, a local child psychologist and parent of an Unquowa alumni (2016). Annie has 20 years experience working with children and parents in both school and private settings and believes that mindfulness is one of the key components to happiness, health and managing stress in our busy lives. The group caps at 15 and we will offer it to Unquowa parents first, and it is open to interested parents outside of the school. 4th & 5th Grade Mini Musical 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM view detailshide details 4th and 5th grade voice and drama students will put on a show |

Grades 7/8 Humanities - Andy Sarkany, Holocaust Survivor Guest Speaker 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM view detailshide details Holocaust survivor, Endre (Andy) Sarkany, will be speaking with 7th and 8th grade Humanities students. Over the past 10 years, Mr. Sarkany has been speaking to students about his personal experiences during the Holocaust, living under the brutality of the Soviet regime in Hungary, and finding a home in the United States. This program is being offered to Humanities students in Grades 7 and 8, along with their parents. Location: Dining Room |
