Faerie Sightings!
Posted by Alice DesGranges
Second and Third Grade students had a magical day visiting the Florence Griswold Museum’s Wee Faerie Village and painting in “plein air” on the museum’s scenic grounds. Students visited the Amusement park-themed faerie exhibits found around the museum gardens and ended the day by painting outdoors looking over the river aglow with warm autumn colors. Many Faerie sightings were reported! One student summed up the magic of the day by saying “this was the best day of my life!”.
