Mondrian Boogie Woogie
Posted by Alice DesGrangesThe third grade class studied the work of the Dutch painter and abstract pioneer, Piet Mondrian. We traced the evolution of his painting from impressionism to his iconic geometric primary colored abstract designs. Broadway Boogie Woogie was one of his final works inspired by the music Mondrian listened to while working. To enjoy the full Mondrian experience the class listened to Boogie Woogie while creating their designs.
