Put your forks up for the Layers of the Earth

Grade six students had an interesting and delicious lesson completing a unit on Earth Science about studying the layers of the Earth. Part of their “assessment” was a living lab, eating layers of the Earth Cake made by a student and their family. Students were instructed to “eat the thinnest layer; eat the hottest layer, and eat the thickest layer; and enjoy!
