Whooosh, BOOM!, Creeeeek…These are just some of the creepy sounds that begin our Halloween stories in third grade. Students have been working hard on planning, organizing and creating spooky Halloween adventures. When final drafts were finished, book covers were created and “About the Author” paragraphs completed this writing experience. While sharing our stories, readers were tasked with telling the author three great elements of the story and one point of constructive criticism as we help each other become better and better authors.
