The Power of Bilingualism

By learning another language people develop skills like problem-solving, multitasking, and decision making. Numerous studies have found that learning another language can improve brain functions like ability to focus attention and perform mental tasks. Natalia Restrepo shared her multilingual experience with 7th and 8th graders. She explained the importance of the languages you learn as a child, but also emphasized the ones you learn later in life. She shared some strategies which can help students to develop their language skills. Thank you Natalia!!
