Bonfire stories
Posted by Karen EngelkeSecond and fifth grades have been working hard writing autumnal tales inspired by the season. Second graders have been crafting small moment stories set in Autumn. We have met with the fifth grade class over the course of the past month to share our ideas and exchange valuable feedback to our writing. Fifth grade taught second grade all about the stages of a story arch and second grade has lent an eager ear to the fifth graders as they fine tune their stories.
All of this hard work will culminate in a wonderful evening event when both classes will come together to share their stories around a bonfire right here on campus.
