“It is a big house with three floors. It has ten windows and two doors…” In this activity, sixth grade students had to tune into information being said aloud to draw the house accurately. Even still, art is art, so there is some room left for interpretation. Both of these students managed to hit the mark in their own way! This activity was just one of many to prepare us for our ultimate goal: to look at the floor plan of a house and to be able to describe it in as much detail as possible.
