APR21 | 7th Grade High School Placement Discussion 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM view detailshide details The High School Placement Team will discuss the high school process with 7th grade parents. Location: Dining Room 6th Grade Humanities Ancient Coin Demo 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM view detailshide details In 6th grade Humanities students will have an incredible opportunity to connect with history in a hands-on way. Thanks to a special visit from Professor Giovanni Ruffini of Fairfield University, students will be able to explore authentic coins from Ancient Greece and Rome! Students will have the rare chance to hold real ancient coins from different periods and learn how currency shaped daily life in ancient civilizations. |
APR22 | Assembly 8:40 AM view detailshide details All school assembly will start promptly at 8:40am. Grades 5-8 please wear the blazer dress code. All are welcome! 4th - 6th Grade STEM Fair 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM view detailshide details Grade 4,5 & 6 students will showcase models of renewable energy including passive solar, wind power, and hydropower. All are welcome! Location: Gym Grade 1-8 Earth Day Celebration 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM view detailshide details Earth day will be celebrated at Unquowa this year. Students will participate in various Earth Day themed stations and enjoy a cookout for lunch on the back field. Some stations may include art activities, music, animal meet and greets and more! This will be a casual day with earth themed dress code and children should bring in towels to sit on for lunch. |
APR24 | Casual Day view detailshide details The last Friday of the month and a casual day! Students are allowed to attend school in clothing of their choice rather than the school dress code. Their appearance must still be neat and tidy - no torn or frayed clothing, mottos, slogans, or unsuitable lettering on t-shirts. Shirts must fully cover midriffs, and short skirts are not permitted. Usually, the last Friday of each month is a casual day for students. Other casual days are designated for special occasions. Mandatory Spring Musical Rehearsal 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM Set up for Auction in Gym 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM Faculty Friday Hosted by 7th Grade 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM view detailshide details Parents help celebrate faculty and staff birthdays each month by bringing in treats to the staff lounge for them to enjoy! Please drop off items at 8am. |
APR25 | UPA Spring Auction 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM view detailshide details Book your babysitter and join us for a fantastic evening with live and silent auctions, delicious food, cocktails and fun! This event allows us to support, underwrite and give to the school in many ways that directly impact our children. |
