Hitting the Slopes on a Saturday!
Posted by Lloyd MitchellImagine this. It’s a balmy 15 degrees, the time is 6:45am on a Saturday and you’re arriving at school. Yes, school! What better to do on a Saturday than take a trip up to Massachusetts to do some Saturday skiing and snow tubing at Butternut mountain! Ski club is in full swing and we have had two awesome ski trips despite not having a lot of snow! This trip, the conditions were excellent, the weather was just right and everyone had a blast! These trips are designed to give students an opportunity to spend the day on the mountain with their friends and some teacher chaperones. It gives students a sense of independence – from figuring out how to carry all the gear into the lodge to managing your time! It’s a great experience that we all look forward to each year.
