Kicking off our 10th annual opening rafting trip, 7th and 8th grade ventured to upstate Massachusetts to spend the day whitewater rafting on the rapids of Deerfield River.  While there was plenty of rapids to contend with, we also had time to jump in the river and float as well as some fun boat activities to get to know our classmates better.  There is no better way to kick off the year than getting onto the best outdoor classroom possible.  We were even treated to a rare sighting of a Bald Eagle on the river. We are enjoying a great start to this school year!
