“Yes, And…!”
Posted by Alyson CahillFall After-School Improv for 6th-8th graders got off to a great (and hilarious) start last week! Students learned the basic components of improvisational acting, including how the main “rule” of improv: always agree and accept what your partner(s) have provided in a scene. We practiced this skill by playing a number of warm-up activities and games. Students had a lot of fun trying their hand at a variety of characters and situations. It is quite challenging to come up with ideas “off the cuff,” but this group is ready and willing to jump right in!
