Election Day in PreK-4
Posted by Ann PalmWhen entering the PreK classroom today the children were greeted by the voter registration lady. Was it really Ms. Palm? No one really knew because she had a different voice and didn’t sound like our teacher. She asked us our name, address, age and our grade in order to register us to vote. We filled out our ballot by voting for our favorite color. It was a tie! Pink and blue were voted our favorite colors. Some wanted to vote twice but quickly learned that wasn’t allowed in a democracy. It was a fun and educational way to learn about Election Day and our government.
